That highboy and the closet behind are astonishing pieces. I think I could stay months in that house studying and marveling the furniture. Very inspirational. Thank you for another great episode ☺️

I like how Bob described the difference between a craftsman and an artist cause I always tell clients to send me a picture and we'll get it made for ya. 👍🏻

I saw some of Bob's pieces last year when he brought them to a meeting of the Society of American Period Furniture Makers, and gave a talk about them. He had 2 of the work tables and they are absolutely amazing. The detail is stunning.

Hope to see him Saturday.

Amazing!!! What I’d give to be able to be his apprentice for a few years.

I just wish I had the patience to build all the stuff you see these guys/gals build. I tried making pens for a while, that didn't work out too well either, felt I was spending way too much time sanding and finishing than it was worth, and turned out to be the case. People will buy a package of pens for a dollar and call it good, you try selling them even a $20 pen and they say nope.

With the dust collector, many people just put it in a separate room, or even an outside building away from the work area to keep the noise down...which I think would be a much better solution than a much smaller dust collector.
