AngularJS 1.5+ Component bindings

Explaining how to use Angular 1.5's component bindings. I probably overexplained a few things and underexplained a few things as this was my first video. Let me know what you think in the comments.

This is the best tutorial about angularjs 1.5+ data that I have found so far. It actually worked as it was supposed to.
When used in reality the fact that components cannot use 'replace: true' creates strange html, so.. I need to keep looking into directives instead.

I have a question. I am building a messaging app and I have a input and submit button in my components template.
Is it possible to update the binding within the component rather then using the parent?

and i thought angularjs (1.x) only have controllers lol but i still dont get the real use of components bacause you can do the same stuff using controllers easily
