The Art of Living with Nature

We are sisters, Julia and Anastasia Vanderbyl. A few years ago, we began a journey to live a life in perfect harmony with nature. A life of caring for animals, growing fruit, planting trees, gardening, cooking, creating, building and learning to live with the land.
In this time, nature has taught us more than we could have ever imagined.

Our environmental films document the landscape, the lessons we’ve learnt and our work as regenerative farmers here on Bundjalung Country.

We live on the land of the Arakwal and Minjungbal People of the Bundjalung Nation. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Country we live on and recognise their continuing connection to the land and waters. We thank them for protecting this rainforest and its ecosystems since time immemorial.

"Sensuous" is the perfect word, as everything in your videos is beautiful, and i mean absolutely everything. "Sensuous" also being translatable to "the beauty of Nature", as the Great Spirit has made all Creation beautiful. Hmnn, this is probably the best channel on YouTube, as it actually has absolutely everything (i've repeated myself!) including cooking, groovy music by local musicians who can be supported, great photography from your mum, a perhaps little-noted element which is the absolutely fabulous sound, undoubtedly from a top of the range audio thingy, capturing the songs of Mother Gaia, and even the up close and personal kitchen sounds are to die for! The centrepiece being of course your own beauty, which i'm sure everyone appreciates, along with the beauty of the whole farm and the whole rainforest, with all the comments we read showing everyone loves the whole channel, with your underlying message which i shall spell out plainly: what we need is for the whole world to live this way, or at least the rich the whole post industrialised consumer society much closer to it, and then we wouldn't have our problems and the human race might continue to grow and thrive even right through the 22nd century!!! But wait there's more - being also a nice fashion blog too, and your outfit from round 11.30 is just to die for Anastasia (i've repeated myself!). Mainly the gorgeous skirt, but the top compliments it perfectly. Have i forgotten anything? Yes, i have. Your wisdom Anastasia, handed down through your parents and grandparents most certainly, but even this old chook who's been concerned about the environment for too many decades to mention has learnt things from you, like your meditations on the spiritual discipline of appreciating the simplicity of following the same path each day, literally - oh, so i must throw in geese whisperer, goat whisperer, etc. The grace comes in giving the glory up to the Universe, and seeing it as all having come to you through blessing and good fortune - no maya of ego. Anyway, here are all my thoughts and feelings together about all the many videos i've watched - next video i comment on, i may as well just copy and paste this, lol, as this comment sums everything up. PS, if some folks haven't picked it up, the best way to watch Mother the Mountain videos is with singular focus, no flitting elsewhere, as your videos can actually be a meditation.
