China in Fear! PLA’s J-16 and H-6 Targeted by Taiwan’s F-16V and Hornets, Ready to Be Taken Out

The F-16V really lives up its reputation. Recently, photos released by Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense have shown just how impressive it is. From May 23 to 24, the People's Liberation Army conducted military exercises around Taiwan, but not a single missile was fired. Instead, Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense captured video footage of two PLA aircraft, a J-16 and an H-6, being locked on by Taiwan's F-16V using the "Sniper" pod. This targeting method is quite stealthy, as the PLA pilots had no idea they were already sitting ducks. In a real combat scenario, they would have been taken out by Sidewinder air-to-air missiles long ago.

Here's the thing. The United States wrote the book on air to air combat dogfighting. The United States has been engaged in air-to-air combat since 1914. That's 110 years of air-to-air combat experience and tactics. The Air Forces of several NATO Nations come to the United States to train with our fighter pilots.

The PLA Air Force has zero combat dog fighting experience.

Nothing new. Indian Su30 have also detected Chinese J20 (so called 5th gen fighter) in Tibet several times. But India didn't radar locked J20 to avoid escalation. Now India has deployed Rafal with meteor along with Su30 near Tibet bordered

There are many J16s in Pakistan. And Pakistan also operates F16, Erieye AEW&C system and Bell helicopters. Thus the US had the opportunity to study the RADAR signature of J16 for some time. When the US gathers more and more RADAR signatures of an aircraft, they train the AI to recognize even the weakest of detections.
