Very cute! Brutal honesty: it would be interesting to see how it would have turned out either without the tinsel or with enough for the whole cake. Maybe would have been better, but probably not by much.

I think it's all cute except the tinsel.
It's beige and doesn't mesh.
Maybe you could have painted it with white food coloring and sprinkled silver sanding sugar for a sparkle?

I love it!! The garland doesn't exactly look like garland at least from a distance, im not sure why but it looks more like straw to me, im only telling you this because you said to be bluntly honest but I also want to add that everything else is really pretty and awesome!!! The tinsel/garland was very thick looking to me and out of place.
