Kayla, I just watched your video on your personal experience of living with BPD symptoms. I could feel that lump in your throat and the tears you were holding back. Your upper lip got sweaty.... you were physiologically experiencing a lot of the deep pain we feel. Bless you for being so raw!!!!💖 It made me want to ask could you start a series of videos on some of the symptoms, like anger, insecurity, turbulence in relationships, what you have done to gain control, how long it took and where your at now. Like how many of the 9 criteria you had, how severe was each and how many you no longer have? Hearing a real person so articulate as you are with your therapy degree gives all of your followers real hope.❤️❤️❤️p.s.dont forget the granddaddy of all therapist with this disorder Marsha Linehan who formulated DBT and is internationally respected.

Thanks for the video. I am a self diagnotic BPD since few years, I dont know what triggers my mood to swing, but i found that Colon problems may send a message of low energy and bad mood, without sending any pain signals. I felt low after eating food that triggers colon. I think solving the gastronomical problem, will change this erratic behaviour. I found also that eating a small spoon of cumin can solve the colon problem temporarily, remove gases and makes the mood better. Will give more peaceful state. not eating too much or even fasting is a good technique, do not allow constipation also. Get rid of the bad social connections, real and virtual. especially the internet ones, where bullying became the fashion style of this modern world. practicing sport. according to hopkins medecine, higher-than-normal percentage of people with IBS and functional bowel problems develop depression and anxiety. Also, i felt low after sex. too much sex may bring the body to a fragile and shaking state. escitol helped me after depression, in many ways, one of them is it stopped my sexual desires for a month or so. it came at the cost of sleeping too much though and sucide thoughts.

your channel is so incredible. Im a psychotherapist myself with a history of BDP partners and im still learning so much listening to you. I never even knew SILENT BPD existed before i found you last week. I always thought my mum had a kind of "passive internal BPD: as she had no anger outbursts and now this SILENT makes so much sense. Thank you and meows to you sweet kitty❤

Thank you for sharing about your BPD . It gives me insight and understanding on what’s going on with my girlfriend that has BPD . I just want to be the supportive and caring boyfriend that she deserves. Unfortunately her pass relationships done more harm then good to her . She is in therapy and on medication for her BPD . I have learn one of the best things for her is for me to be patient, caring and showing her I’m here for her, not going anywhere. Thanks again for sharing and helping others better understand BPD .

Ok but what about reacting to someone’s tone of voice? For me when someone sounds angry it really triggers my mood swings and spirals.

I was diagnosed with borderline traits as a 15 year old. I was full on borderline, but they don’t diagnose past “traits” for people under 18.

Today, I’m a therapist. And I work frequently with BPD patients to help them navigate their disorder.

Even though I’m considered recovered and stable (obviously enough so to do the job I do), I still experience the mood swings and intense emotions.

I think an important thing to know is that recovery is possible, but don’t be ashamed if small pieces such as the mood swings and intense emotions are still there.

After lots of therapy I found my biggest trigger is injustice. I imagine many BPD sufferers are the same. Considering the World is a big ball of injustice, I imagine the way out is acceptance?

Your channel is incredible!!! You are incredible. Found you yesterday and inhaled already 10 videos although im following so many likewise channels. I didnt even know silent BPD exists...As im always ending up with BPD-partners i was convinced my mother had it too but a more " introverted" version. I never heard of this before. Any tips how to deal with the sensitivity to critisism or even just triggering a sense of "minority conplex"?, the lingering anger which i feel can go off any time.? it stresses me out so much. I unfortunately never had a partner as reflected as you and aswell absolutely avoidant of seeking therapy.
