What is Sales Engineering? | What Does a Sales Engineer Do?

I often get asked what I, as a sales engineer, do for work and it's hard to explain in one sentence. So, here's a video explaining what sales engineers do and how different it is to a job of a software engineer or a salesperson.

Sales is a scary word for an engineer as it involves knowledge about finances, legal issues and contrat negotiation...I wonder how far a sales engineer would go when the customer starts asking about non technical aspects. Would he/she step back and give over to a more specialized team or would this also be part of his/her job.
