You should use *30 FPS timeline* instead of 24.

All instagram videos are shown in 30 FPS (regardless of frame rate of the uploaded file).
If you choose to upload in 24 FPS you will get 6 duplicate frames per second, resulting in less smooth playback.

3:05 What does restricting to 10000 bits effectively do? Any reason not to do this?
Lastly, are there settings you can change on 10-bit HDR video so that it uploads to Instagram in a better way? All stories and Reels that I upload that are in 10-bit HDR (recorded on Pixel 7 Pro) look washed out and terrible.

Sorry but ive tried the 1080p timeline and export, and from what can i tell uploading în 4k is still better even with the instagram copression. I have compared same clips 1080 and 4k the 4k looks better that the downscaled 4k to 1080p.

I'm using DR 17and when I slide the X, Y positions instead of the side parts of the images becoming visible when i move it around, black screen comes up. I did all the steps suggested in the video to "scale full frame with crop"
