Lion's Pride roars at Kempton

Lion's Pride opened his account at the second time of asking with a taking success in the EBF Novice Stakes at Kempton.

Trained by John and Thady Gosden and ridden by Rab Havlin, the 4/7 favourite pounced late to record a three-length success in the 11-furlong contest.

A son of the late, great Roaring Lion, the three-year-old is also a half-brother to this year's Ascot Gold Cup hero Courage Mon Ami, with more improvement expected!
