Fun fact: the Kris was mostly used in Southeast Asia and Japan. The blade's waviness created a wider wound during combat which caused the opponent to bleed quickly to death. In popular culture the Kris sword is also found in the video game Mortal Kombat

In the filipino culture we have a similar blade in design to the kris. It's called the Kalis but unlike the kris or the javanese keris, it's a full length double bladed sword.

I feel as though the blade is a better representation of a flamberge than a kris dagger. The curvature is more long and flowing than the sudden jagged nature of most kris daggers
