Adjectives describe nouns. THEY HAVE THE SAME FORM IN SINGULAR AND PLURAL
She's YOUND / They're YOUNG
It's a CHEAP skirt / They're CHEAP skirts.
Adjectives go
a) before nouns : a YOUNG man, a BEAUTIFUL bird, a WARM day, a CLEVER child
b) after to be, appear, become/ turn, feel, look, get, seem, sound, smell, stay etc
She seems SAD
It sounds GREAT
They look HAPPY
There are OPINION adjectives and FACT adjectives
Opinion adjectives such as beautiful, smart, selfish, optimistic etc show what a person thinks of somebody or something. Fact adjectives such as young, thin, short etc give us FACTUAL information about age, size, color etc
Word order :

An + vowel sound
