The problem is after so much trial and error they had pretty much perfected the formula of how to make the fans happy and keep the stories coherent while making a whole lot of money but then they decided to toss it all away by trying to gather more audience that was there only for the messaging and not for the journey. The multiverse saga itself is not the problem because there are not many movies that take multiverse into account. In fact the movie which was supposed to be a multiverse movie hardly had the so called multiverse. So the problem with marvel right now is that it is trying to please everyone except the fans. But deadpool and wolverine might have shifted the tide in our favour even just a little bit. But the amount of content that they have shot and prepared is going to hurt them bad because none of the future movies look promising except maybe fantastic four but that is just because of the existing fans of the ip but if they decide to use this movie as a messaging stunt then they might just loose the entire fanbase that they had created.

The multiverse itself is not the problem. The problem is plot holes and rotten stories. The simple fact is that Multiverse of madness ended up being the worst multiverse movie created due to not digging deep enough into the multiverse, wasting America Chavez character and the Illuminati, and relying on cameos to be used as punching bags. Quantumania wasted Kang the conqueror to be the next Thanos of the MCU and fired poor Jonathan Majors. The Marvels created a tear in reality which led to Monica being trapped in some random X-Men universe which leaves a plot hole and wasting the incursions story which leaves no steaks and don't get me started on What If season 2 finale. Say whatever you want about the MCU Multiverse but don't you dare disrespect Loki, No way home and Deadpool and Wolverine does movies carried the multiverse saga!

The problem is that the Multiverse Saga has been facing numerous problems over the past three years. It isn't the multiverse itself that's bad; it's the bad decisions they have been making with it that are the problem. They're using the Multiverse as cash grab filler rather than something to move the plot forward. Most notably, Multiverse of Madness poorly utilized the cameos and used them as punching bags. Take notes from Across the Spider-Verse. It had nostalgia, yes. But look how creatively it utilized the multiverse! Indian universe, punk universe, Gwen's universe, you get my point. Marvel just doesn't seem to be doing that. It almost looks like Marvel is running out of ideas. Another problem I have is the lack of proper buildup to Secret Wars because consider this. Yk what made IW and Endgame great? It was the interconnected storyline the franchise had, with Marvel focusing on one key thing: building up to those movies, and look how well they did with it back then! Which is exactly why Endgame remains my favorite comic book movie of all time, because of how it culminated 11 years and 22 movies of interconnected storytelling. If you compare this to the Multiverse Saga, you'll notice it would feel more disjointed because events nowadays just happen for the sake of happening and they don't address it. Moon Knight for example. Moon Knight was a decent show, but after the finale, it looks like they didn't bother to address it in any subsequent project. And the characters aren't being utilized or developed that well compared to characters like Iron Man, Cap, Thor, Spider-Man, Black Panther, or Doctor Strange. Thor and Hulk have become less interesting now, thanks to Thor 4 and She-Hulk. Phase 5 gave Marvel some of the lowest lows in 2023 with Quantumania giving the MCU its first Razzie nominations in 16 years and The Marvels becoming the franchise's biggest flop and one of the most panned movies of the MCU. Deadpool & Wolverine was a solid movie, but it looks like moving forward, Marvel still has a nostalgia addiction. As much as I love Deadpool & Wolverine, I wouldn't say it saved the franchise. Agatha All Along, I didn't like it that much, Brave New World, I heard ppl are getting pissed off at the results, Ironheart, I heard it's causing backlash, and Blade, WTF HAVE THEY BEEN DOING OVER THE PAST 5 YEARS? This gives me worries about Doomsday and Secret Wars along with that casting RDJ as Dr Doom felt desperate. I'm sure he can pull off the role from an acting standpoint, but it looks like because they have no time to build him up, they became desperate and used a stunt casting choice. Without proper buildup, it could diminish the stakes and potentially waste Dr Doom.

The obvious reasons for the post endgames struggle and more frequent failures:
1. Complete lack of connective narrative.
2. Unnecessarily giving side characters their own projects.
3. Writing feeling poor, lazy and wasted

I'm actually excited for that soft reboot in 2027's "Avengers: Secret Wars" to give us that more unified proper Marvel Universe here if that's what it's really leading and building up to there when we get it in theaters yet here

The multiverse saga hasn't really multiversed 😂 Out of 28 projects they've only explored the multiverse in 6 of them. Loki, What if, No way home, Dr strange and the multiverse of madness, Ant man 3 and Deadpool and Wolverine. Thunderbolts is project 29 and again probably has nothing to do with the Multiverse. Why name a saga something and not even half of your projects are about said saga 🤣 I don't think Marvel know what they want to do anymore.

The only problem is all the negative opinions that DO NOT MATTER. All the Marvel movies before and after the first Iron Man, including all the X-Men movies and Marvel mini series, especially The Marvels and Madame Web, are perfect and equally great. There is no bad Marvel movie. Edward Norton's Hulk movie is perfect. The Eternals is perfect and they are GOING to make a sequel to The Eternals. They are GOING to make a sequel to Madame Web. Anyone who doesn't like all the Marvel movies are GOING to shut up and respect everyone who do like all the Marvel movies. The only major problem with any Marvel movie is in Ant-man 3 with the pathetic excuse for an actress who STOLE the role of Cassie Lang from Emma Fuhrmann. They had no right and no good reason to unjustifiably replace Emma Fuhrmann. They are GOING to remake Ant-man 3 with Emma Fuhrmann in it and they are GOING to remake Ant-man 3 NOW. End of discussion. I have spoken.
