A few suggestions that will work. You can use a virtual PC and connect your drive by USB. Have a dedicated PC that has no hard drive in it. That way if you plan on doing more hard drives, all you have to do is use a USB docking station to connect your drive. I chose to setup a dedicated PC with out windows installed. It is way safer than risking a working computer.

I really like using Rufus and making USB bootables. I really think the idea of using CDs is an outdated concept. Not saying using discs are a bad thing.

I recently did a full format on a drive and then tried to recover the data with a data recovery program with zero success. Not one file found.

Great video, but I got a Question here: when the drive is wiped the data can't be retrieved again using some data recovery apps!!?
