I’m a 50 yr old female going through a divorce and recently bought my own home. I’m on a tight budget and this video gave me the confidence to go out and purchase the supplies to do my own repairs. Thanks, you saved me a lot of money!

I use dishwashing soap, e.g., Dawn, to make it easier when sliding the connector. Makes things easier to force/muscle the connectors into the tubing.

Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Very helpful. God bless you! I'm off to buy the parts. I had a plumbing leak from the utility supply to my home which I had fixed in January. The plumbing guys broke the irrigation lines & tried to cover it up by wrapping with some tape and burying the line. I discovered this last night with the onset of summer. Aargh! I hope it is as easy as you have shown. I will also be picking up a couple of riser stakes, since they broke a couple of those too.

I have a leak in the supply hose coming out of the water (pump?) Going into a cemented underground hose - that section is only about 6" long and can't be bent to fix as your tutorial shows. How could I fix a stiff section of hose like that?

I followed the same but water still leaking any other suggestions. Grt help though!

I tried fixing a section similarly to how you did the second fix (minus the need for a punch and replacing of the drip offshoot). Let's just say that the twisting coupling didn't work anywhere near as good as yours did. It still spewed water out. I even used some blue pipe glue just to ensure the connections were sealed. Any ideas as to how to fix the section with the screw couplers without leaks afterwards?

I tried this and the coupling fix tight on one end and loose on the right side. I flipped the coupling and the same right side was loose. Any suggestions?

Great video. Great content. I will be watching your other videos. I am an older single woman and think you are an attractive man but have you ever considered having your beard groomed when you get your hair cut? It would be so much easier to look at you. You do have a great beard otherwise.
