PRS Private Stock Custom 24 vs Music Man Majesty Monarchy

I tried to cover Dream Theater's Spirit Carries On.

Both are good but for the sound I like PRS more because I feel its sound is more open for me.

Very nice cover, sounds great. Going to see them tomorrow night, they're doing the whole album Scenes on this tour, so will hear the real thing, can't wait.

Both guitars sound great, the finishes are sublime, but I've just bought a Majesty last week and absolutely love the flexibility of the piezo and switchable stereo between electric and acoustic. Maybe I'm a little bit biased 😁.

PS ... also got a Jem555-WH, best guitar I've ever had, 'til the Majesty. Awesome guitar too though, the Edge III tremolo is easily as good as the one on the Majesty, actually a bit stiffer, which I prefer - the flutter on the Majesty is a bit too extreme for me, otherwise both feel so fluid and responsive.

Music Man smokes the PRS in flexibility of sounds. I have 10 PRS private stocks and Dragons and 5 JPs and Majesties., They are both great though. I like the way the majesty plays with the neck through.

I recently bought a majesty monarchy !!! It is a great guitar. I am a little concerned about the sustain on my guitar. Sustain on the thirteenth fret on the G string is short. Is the sustain less on certain frets? If not, can I do something about it?

would you agree the 25 " PRS tunes better trough the whole fretboard ? than a 25.5 scale guitar or a 24.75 gibson scale?
