We do love our Sunday drives and on this drive we are in Derbyshire, particularly the Dales area, a beautiful area of England passing through towns and villages particularly Tideswell with its church, St John the Baptist known at the Cathedral of The Peak District, built entirely in the 14th century, which has notable monuments, brasses and woodcarvings.
The conversation gets a little serious with a problem I had during the beginning of Covid and a warning for all men of a certain age!

Had a great day out yesterday. I live in Kidderminster and my partner lives in Coventry. So I picked her up and we drove to Matlock. I also convinced her to ride on the cable car to the top of the heights of Abraham. Not a particularly cheap day, as the tickets for the ride cost £27 each, for adults. Fortunately, we had good weather and great views. The cost of the tickets did include a tour of the caverns, but being as she has recently had a hip operation, I think the cavern tour, would have been a bit of a struggle for her. We did enjoy exploring Matlock though. The drive through the Derbyshire Dales, was spectacular and a real treat. Definitely made it a worthwhile trip.🙂
