Cheat Engine - Infinite Money in Baldur's Gate 3

Using Cheat Engine, I show how to find and modify the amount of money in the inventory, effectively resulting in infinite money.

This same technique can be used with most other values in Baldur's Gate 3 to duplicate items.

Don't do it in your inventory but on a container you don't own or a corpse then loot it. If you do it in your inventory, it will bug because (i think) of the general gold counter that adds up the gold of all your characters.

Wonderful guide! Unfortunately it’s kinda buggy but that’s somewhat expected. Sometimes it only appears to work? It changed the value of the gold stack only. But if I now drop the stack or try to split most of the time it won’t stay the new value and reverts back to my original gold value. I don’t understand that.

Appears to have been patched, value seems to be only cosmetic, even freezing it doesn't do anything

It's better to do it with gems for weight reasons.

This didn't work for me, but I think it is because I don't have too much gold. :(
