Copic Makes Water Based Paint Pens?! - TRYING COPIC ACREA

When I was browsing a Japanese are store and my eye spotted Copic making water-based ink pens... I couldn't resist trying them! I love Posca pens, so I should love these... right?!

I find most paint pens to be temperamental in some form or fashion. Sometimes you get one that works perfectly, then you're bummed when ya gotta switch to one that's prone to leaking or drying out.

I bought them back in October, and they are amazing!! If you are experiencing any ink issues, wet the tip with water, cap the marker, and then shake it 20 times!!

The copics aren't really blowing me away. I think I'm still team Posca. I loveeee your illustrations here. I think my fav is the coral tree because I love the colors although the organ tree was satisfying 😂😂

There are some double markers with a fine and a more bold tip, for example Molotow sells these kind of markers (One4All Acrylic Twin) and they are high end quality. They also sell refills, what I love ❤.
Furthermore, I enjoy drawing with brush pen acrylic markers like for example the Arrtx Liquid Ink Markers or the Karin Decobrush Markers (also very good quality) - no pumping required and they never feel dry.
