Leopard Gecko Simple Setup

This is a very simple setup for a leopard gecko using a 20 gallon glass terrarium.

Enclosure: 10gallon or 20gallon glass terrarium with screen lid
Hides: at least 1 dry hide and 1 moist hide
Food Bowl: Feed mealworms, dubia roaches, crickets, superworms with vitamin powder, calcium with vitamin D3 powder, and gutloaded insects
Water Bowl
Heat: undertank heat pad with digital thermostat. Heat range on floor should go from 92F down to 80F as a gradient.
Substrate: Paper towel, reptile carpet, slate tiles. NO SAND, NO CRUSHED WALNUT SHELL. Only use paper towel, eco earth or moss in the moist hide!

This is the bear minimum for a leopard gecko please get you gecko lots of plant and hides so that they are not bored

You need 3 hides, a dry warm side, a moist hide and a dry cool hide.

I’m getting a leopard gecko soon and uh I’m not sure about my bedding? Like I need some major tips what bedding should I use? Im looking for something I can just get at a pet store but I don’t want paper towel cause I don’t like how it looks. Also lemme get this straight

A humid hide with a heating pad under

A decent sized tank

A food and water bowl

Mealworm for food (live)

Another hide

A spritz of water in the humid hide and inside I can put paper towel in there

I'm not saying I'm right but I feel like that bowl hide is gonna scrape the gecko if it goes in the hide the wrong way.

i think you should switch the humid hide and cool hide... leopard geckos dont really need much humidity unless they are shedding.. overall nice vid ur gecko is really cute ...
