Man - x, Boy - 3x
In ratio: 1/x : 1/3x
Take LCM : 3(1/x): 1/3x
= 3/3x : 1/3x
Cancel 3x on both sides
So ratio is 3:1
Boy total wages is = 1/4x800 = 200rs
Boy one day wages = 200/5 = 40rs

step 1: find one day work,
man= 1/x boy= 1/3x

step 2: find ratio;
1/x : 1/3x = 3:1/3x
so the ratio is 3:1

step3: find share:
1/4 x 800 = 200 [ total wages of the boy]
one day salary for boy= 200/5 = 40 rupees
