14:35 List of Dive Sites Visited & Sunset
Visiting Wayag - one of the most beautiful examples of limestone islands meeting coral reef (maybe the inspiration for the floating mountains of "Avatar"?)
Experiencing such prolific underwater ecosystems is a rare treat. All the dive sites were truly world class but stand out dives during our trip were:
Cape Kri - the sheer bio-mass of fish was impressive
Blue Magic - for sharks enjoying the current
The Passage - where we enjoyed caves and a nice drift dive in the current
Pearl Farm - night dive where we only moved about 10 metres in an hour
Manta Sandy & Eagle Rock - Giant Manta's
Thanks to the deeply knowledgeable dive lead and boat manager Ben, the always smiling boat crew and dive guides as well as my fellow divers - Harry, Nik, Antoine, Frederique and Evelyn for making it such a memorable trip.
Video Music:
Avatar themes - first half (as per inspiration of the Wayag islands)
What Makes You Beautiful - The Piano Guys (check them out on Youtube!)
