I shot from Jersey side this year too. Some of the same spots you went too. Left about 3 hours before you arrived. I get goosebumps every year. Just beautiful to see. I realized this year that the Tear Drop memorial does a much, much smaller version of lights. Never knew that. I always forget to do video so it’s cool to see yours. Much less crowded when you went as well.

Fantastic video Jay! I saw a lot of really good images on IG but most of those were really zoomed in. Your photos really show how far those lights go into the sky...I had no idea that they were that immense! Powerful personal remembrance of that terrible day as well. Thanks for sharing that with us!

Amazing images Jay and that's some memory you shared, for me the cities skyline just looks so surreal now without seeing the twin towers in the distance, hard to believe it has been 20 years.

Really nice shots Jay, especially the last one. Maybe we could get together next year? I've been shooting the lights for the past 7 years now, at different location around NJ, Brooklyn, and Queens. I was doing work in the Building in the Antenna room, just not on that day.
