Coronavirus: Testing will 'unlock puzzle', PM says - BBC News

Testing is the solution to "unlock the puzzle" of coronavirus, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said.

Mr Johnson was speaking after it was revealed only 2,000 out of some half a million frontline NHS workers in England had been tested.

The PM said the government needed to "massively ramp up" testing so that NHS staff who were self-isolating unnecessarily could return to work.

It came as the UK had its biggest daily increase in deaths - 563.

As of 17:00 on Tuesday, the overall number of deaths from the virus in the UK was 2,352.

Mr Johnson, who is self-isolating in Downing Street after contracting the virus himself, has faced widespread criticism over his government's testing strategy - with around 13,000 tests available each day against a target of 25,000.

It sure will Boris. But looking at the BBC News website now it says concerns over testing in the UK and that only 2000 health workers out of 500.000 have been tested. So I guess there are quite some pieces missing in that puzzle...

I feel awful for all the people at risk that aren’t able to get the tests. It’s good they are trying hard. Though they could do better, the virus isn’t getting much better. I understand it is difficult since it’s a pandemic though.

After watching a few videos on 5G, In one video there was loads of dead bee's under it! I mean like 30-40 bee's! all dead on the floor! I'm not sure of all the technical data but listened to a guy on here who talks not of the tin foil hat ideology but coming from a science/technology based back ground. He talks about the frequencies created by these 5G towers and they are very powerful! because mobile phones were originally invented to work outside. As most of us use them indoors the signal needs to be much stronger to penetrate walls etc. The 5G is suppose to be implemented due to A.I, electric self driving cars & so we can download a video in 4k 8k in like 8 seconds! It's all good for technology I suppose but what effects does it actually have on our bodies? especially the elder? I thought that as you get older you cant hear certain frequencies for example, as the ones you could when you were younger? So whats to say that these signals ain't messing with human cells at a molecular level? & the bodies response is to create a virus or some kind of reaction to it? I'm not saying this is a direct link to covid-19 but things like the first 5G towers was installed in Wuhan makes you ask these pacific question in your own mind. I didn't think 5G was implemented yet here in the UK but after following the top area's affected outside of London such as Sheffield, Derby & the other place was down south somewhere, they all have 5G in the cities! 5G is running computers in hospitals etc. I have been asking this same question in my own mind since Jan, so I am going to ask it on here. Most of our elders who are supposed to have these underlying issues have 100% NOT been traveling around the world since Jan/Feb & for the people who have, like their grandsons or sons/ daughters etc, if they have and lets say they've just come back from Italy or Spain or China. I'm pretty sure they knew about the possibility of them maybe having covid-19. Surely they wouldn't have gone and visited Nan or Grandad to say how fantastic their holiday as been? So how have they caught it in the first place? & to add to that if a mass % of us are self isolating at home then how can so many be dying from it? who is reading the test results? I have a family member who recently passed away from having 2 cancer brain tumors and she as been dying for the past 6 months, never left the house, None of us have covid-19 but yet they saying it was covid-19 that killed her? Another statistic to add to the number of deaths to justify the lock down, passing new laws & creating a whole new life for us all once this is all over, Oh and creating mass amounts of debt whilst their at it! It all begs questions in my mind & Boris sounds about as ill as....I dont know what's going on but question everything and follow the money. That will probably lead to the truth. PC GAMERZ UK!!!

What exactly does he mean by 'separate pieces of PPE equipment'?? 379 million sounds a lot but I suspect they are counting a single glove as an item of PPE in which case it's not enough. Frontline NHS staff are still saying they do not have sufficient PPE.

If tested and your found to have had it, have the antibodies etc you can go back to work, how's that pan out if your job is not part of the essential workers and your place of work has its doors locked

if you have enough masks then you don't need so many ventilators. Is it not obvious to see? isolate in home is totally wrong, people do not have enough knowledge and protective gears to prevent infect their family, they need to be sent to hospital. It is shame, UK can't build several hospitals in 10 days.
