I've never been told "You're so pretty without makeup" when j was bare-faced. Once I was wearing a full face, and someone told me "You're so pretty without makeup, I like how you never wear it" and I was like Thanks?'

I personally think they mean you’re pretty with and without make up. It’s like two different sides of the coin. Because we get to see one side the coin more often the other we tend a to complement the side that we don’t see very often. But personally I wear make up to make myself feel better when I’m not feeling my best and insides

I like to just say "OK" like they've just given me directions to the bus station.... Then they can feel as confused and uncomfortable as they have just made me. Xxx

I can sort of relate to this comment. I woke up late for school a few weeks ago and I already missed my first block class. I finally make it to school just in time for second block. I usually wear makeup, but this time I didn't have time to put any on. xD So, I walked into my class just as the late bell rings and my teacher pulls me aside and says, "Hey, are you okay?" I reply with, "Yeah, I'm okay." I explained why I was so frazzled and she responds back with, "Yeah, you look awful." I know that's not what she meant to say, but that's what it sounded like because she was like, "Yeah, you looked a bit off." XD The ONE day I don't wear makeup, guys. I will always remember her! I found it a little funny. I love her so much. XD Anyway, that's my story. :')

I feel like some people overreact when people make innocent comments that are made to be compliments :/ I wear make up every so often but I tend not to wear it every day and I get people saying "wow you look like a model when you have lipstick on" and where that may sound like someone is insulting your natural beauty, at the end of the day it is meant as a compliment so you take it as such :) I think this is a complete overreaction, I say it to my friends all the time and they actually appreciate it just as I would appreciate someone telling me that my natural beauty is much nicer looking that my false/enhanced beauty.
