Julie one of your best videos. You and your team had already convinced me to do an audiobook but this video only confirmed what you had told me. As a finance guy I am the most important ROI is building a brand for me thank you.

Today I received the gift: the soft Book Launcher journal! Thank you again, Julie! It looks great. Can't wait to start writing on it! Remember to stay safe.

Great reasons to do that audiobook, Julie. I'm getting my first one edited and contemplating a second short one later this year. Love the notion of that lack of competition, along with the gravitas. Thanks for doing this, as always.

Thank you for making this video Julie! I’ve been asked a few times if I will have my book available in audio form. Im very familiar with the process because I work with voice over talent all of the time. While I’m skeptical about using my own voice, your encouragement to do so along with friends and coworkers saying I have a nice voice might influence me enough to do it. As always great stuff.

Audiobooks are becoming so popular now! Definitely a medium to think about when I get to the publishing stage. :-)

I finally got to the point where the sales from ACX can pay for two to be produced. In the beginning I saved up to pay for narrators since I don't do splits.

Not sure. Didn’t realize how expensive it is. Great information that I had been wondering about.

I have three books I need to share. A music scale compedium 5-9 notes with a chord poster book as well as a ukulele chord book. All complete.

So pricey! There’s got to be some creative hacks to cut costs, ie. libraries, friend home studios. Great content. See you on the 20th!

Just in time for your new video, ACX has reduced the time you can switch from exclusive to non-exclusive. Of course, now I can't find the post I saw it in. It was in an audiobook author's group that started to fight ACX's return policy. I think it's three months now, but I'm only 85% sure that's the number.

I'm a big audiobooks consumer especially for non-fiction books, but don't have the budget for it right now. Wish I did...

I think Dale recommends another service rather than ACX to produce your audiobook. Presumably Audible may not accept such books?

I just received one of my author copies of my book and it was mixed with someone else’s book content. Has this ever happened before? If so you should do a video on it.

Thanks again for your amazing video! I have finished recording my audiobook -"Hush to Roar" (I'm editing, not a walk in the park, but I'm enjoying it on Audacity) -but I hadn't thought of having to pay for a cover again. Can you kindly explain this please, thanks. I assumed I'd upload my book cover file - what do I know! Thanks

The quotes I am getting from studios is approximately $6000+ dollars for an audio version of my book. Money I don't have... However, I am getting pressure from readers to create one. I am considering doing it myself with a good mic and seeing how professional it will actually sound. Is there any chance you could do a video of how to UPLOAD your audio book to ACX? Lots of questions regarding self producing...
