Thank you for making this video Julie! I’ve been asked a few times if I will have my book available in audio form. Im very familiar with the process because I work with voice over talent all of the time. While I’m skeptical about using my own voice, your encouragement to do so along with friends and coworkers saying I have a nice voice might influence me enough to do it. As always great stuff.

Just in time for your new video, ACX has reduced the time you can switch from exclusive to non-exclusive. Of course, now I can't find the post I saw it in. It was in an audiobook author's group that started to fight ACX's return policy. I think it's three months now, but I'm only 85% sure that's the number.

I think Dale recommends another service rather than ACX to produce your audiobook. Presumably Audible may not accept such books?

The quotes I am getting from studios is approximately $6000+ dollars for an audio version of my book. Money I don't have... However, I am getting pressure from readers to create one. I am considering doing it myself with a good mic and seeing how professional it will actually sound. Is there any chance you could do a video of how to UPLOAD your audio book to ACX? Lots of questions regarding self producing...
