How to change blades on a shaver (Gillette Mach 3 Turbo)

It's embarrassing to be unable to change blades on a shaver which is supposed to be easy. Somehow when I got my shaver, the plastics weren't cooperating with me to release the blades easily. Hopefully this clip will help those who face the same problem as I did.

I'm a 75 year old retired Aerospace Engineer and I wasn't certain on how to change the blade. Now everything is made of cheap plastic so it is very easy to break something. It was VERY EASY to change the blade. Thanks

Just started with Mach 3 and this is a pain. It feels like broken/stuck, you need to push very hard with a feeling that you will break it even more.

Thanks so much. I was about to head to the pharmacy to ask for instruction (so embarrassing!) Then I thought to check youTube and you solved the mystery for me. Couldn't Gilette include instructions on the package? It sure charges enough for the blades.

Argh. Same problem. But doesn’t seem to work on 4 bladed model. Used a lot of razors during my 77 years, but this has me banging my head on the wall. Then scheduling a test for Alzheimer’s.

Are Mach 3 Turbo and Mach 3 the same does the Mach 3 Turbo razor accept Mach 3 blades and visa-versa? My razor just says Mach 3, not Mach 3 Turbo and I wondered whether they have different fittings?

I have the exact model, but the button is very hard to push - it's a bit stiff, but the blade does come out with a lot of pressure. Is this normal?

0:30 The best part is that they don't even mentioned in the pack that how do you remove the blade, i thought for sure that I put in the wrong way that's why it isn't coming off 😂

Thanks for the video, I have been buying the whole part (blades along with handle) repeatedly, after the razor was kinda off. Didn't know blades can be changed.
