Those videos have a significant amount of effort put into them, in the form of editing. Modern tutorials are mostly too advanced, so your content is very useful.

Excellent design and description. Thank you!

I found a safer way to place the lava. It also allows me to break the glowstone around the spawner quickly, and without destroying the ceiling. This is important in survival.

What I did was build a trench around three sides of the lava room. I left the "back" side alone. Note that I had to light this trench up to level eight, to prevent other mobs from forming in them. Then, I made a hole in the four corners of the room, one higher than the floor (on the far ends of both side walls, but other positions would work).

Then I went inside the lava/spawner room, broke all the lights, and quickly ran out and blocked up the door I used to get into the room.

Finally, I went around the outside and placed a lava block in each of the four corners, using the holes I previously created. I had to be careful, because blaze could see me through the holes.

I left the trench in place for potential future maintenance, but I've never needed it, so leaving it may not be essential.

Thanks man! I have several blaze spawners in a nearby fortress and I'd love to start using them for fuel.

Glowstone (or jack-o-lanterns) are pretty cheap, so this is minor:

To light up the spawner completely at level twelve or higher, only ten level-fifteen light blocks are needed. Place one above and underneath the spawner, and the other eight on the same level as the spawner. Place them three blocks away in each of the four cardinal directions and the four diagonal directions. (Count diagonal movement across a corner as one block, not two, for this purpose.) This forms a seven-by-seven grid of light blocks, lighting the entire volume (around the spawner) to level twelve or higher.

Thx man I made a new world because on my other one while searching for bamboo I fell 500 blocks with my elytra and died so I made a new world with your iron farm and I’m about to make this

I created a change in my world to reduce two risks. First, I build a "trench" all around the outside of the trap room, at floor level, and one block outside the trap room itself. I leave four holes in the wall, each in a corner and one block higher than the floor. This allows me to walk around the outside of the room, safe from blaze attacks from inside, and place the four lava buckets into the corners (through the holes in the walls).

This allows me to remove all light sources (in the grid) from INSIDE the room BEFORE I place the lava. I go in, chop out all of my jack-o-lanterns (making sure to replace the one on top of the spawner with a slab as I do it), and then quickly run out the doorway I left myself. Then I plug up the doorway and proceed to place the four lava buckets.

This has the advantage of not having to make four separate lava buckets in advance. Instead, I dug down (in advance) to the lava sea under my spawner and brought the buckets up one at a time. With iron at a serious premium at 1.18, I don't like making extra buckets that I'll never use again.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks, working on 1.16.5.
I suscribe to your channel only for the phrase: "just like this".
The innumerate times you said it, makes me laugh

I built this once on bedrock.. it sort of still works as the blazes pathfind to you but you don’t get the flowing lava push you do on Java meaning it is not as efficient. Also there is no need for vines, if building on bedrock, as that does not work on bedrock

My man, thanks for the awesome tutorials. I only have 1 qustion, can I use ladders instead of vines?

the design i us is a bit slower because the blaze exit is on the side. i may use this one for singel spawners 😌👍

Does the spawning volume have to be 9 blocks high? I looked it up and wiki says it's 9 long 9 wide 3 high, not counting the height of the blazes, so is 7 enough?

The lighting no longer works at 1.18.1. Do you have a modified version of this video that shows a glowstone pattern that works at 1.18?

Hello could u pls make a bedrock edition blaze farm thanks

I've found the vines are not necessary. The lava pushes them all the way to the edge, but doesn't flow over the edge.

I built it 11x11 cause I just couldn’t let it be not symmetrical

lava doesnt flow all the way to the middle for some reason
