this is what normal people think it's like, but it's probably nothing like this, i have severe autism there is no van for most of us, there is no friends, there is no family, everyone in my life that was supposed to care about me, left me or sent me away for someone else to deal with, i have lived my entire life being someone elses problem, i cant even see a doctor when i need one, they either dont accept my SSI insurance, or they are booked months ahead because SSI pay them so little they stack 300 people to make the same money as regular people pay, my autism is severe but i am fully aware the effect my existence has on the people around me, it is very depressing and i know i will eventually die alone and crippled in some facility. i think the phrase "ignorance is bliss" is very accurate, at least to me. i have never been to an applebees

It's not that he has special needs per say it's that his mind hasn't been fucked by our current evaluation of being happy, he has a simple understanding of a simple thing good is good bad is bad

I love working with DD individuals! They truly love about everything they do! My job is just to interact w/ them. So I grab a squirt gun and chase them around our building squirting them all day lol
