Tongeren Belgium, was along time ago the land of the Galliers, it is the oldest city of belgium, with the Statue of Ambiorix, The Onze lieve Vrouwe basiliek, normally every Sunday morning one of the biggest antique/brocant market of europe. Walk with me trough this city :)

Selmar, I used to live in Germany and drive to Tongeren for the flea markets. Used to get up super early and be there when it opened. Your video was like walking in my memory. The first time we went to Brugge we were surprised at the building technique. One house had been knocked down in a row and in fact there was no foundations, just sometimes a ring of oak on the ground and the houses basically stayed up because of the house on each side wedging them. We spent ages looking at all the construction in the town and in our country house we redid the gable walls in stepped brick like in Brugge, it was very complicated to get the angle right, first attempt was too steep until I put up a string as a guide and we started over. It was much admired when finished and was fun.
