Oh my... this look AMAZING! I’m so glad to see that you didn’t wrap either. I’ve done both wrapped and unwrapped. I lean more towards unwrapped, but I like both methods. Great video

Agrre about spritzing not that important with ribs but I find it essential when smoking a pork shoulder/butt for pulled pork. I usually used diluted apple juice for the spritz.

When I want to make the most awesome pork ribs I apply tupelo honey toward the end and do two turns. Expensive, but very awesome.

Ribs are difficult because you really can't use a Theropen to check for temperature for doneness. You have to be more "old school" and do it by meat shrinkage off the end and testing by touch. There is art to it and not just science.

Hey Dave. This was a very effective video. Not only did you show off that wonderful SNS Kamado, but it was a new behind the scenes keepin it real with Dave detailed cook. I loved it. The good, the bad, and the ugly. However, mostly (99.9%) good. As they say, (Pro Tip) Don't attempt to lift done ribs by the end of the rack. Slide those tongs in all the way. LOL You made some very good points about using water. It's fun to break out and do things different sometimes. Ribs looked delicious. Enjoyed watching

Great video Dave, and I recognize that editing LOL! Awesome and if you really want to know why I spritz pork ribs, next time use a 50/50 mix of bourbon and apple juice ;)

Digging how well that worked out. More reason to keep saving up for one!!

Curious what sauce you used on these. Can you share?

Can you fit 2 big packer briskets on the sns? Presumably they would have to be stacked?

Question? are you going to be making a slow and sear 2.0 for the Weber 26 inch kettle?

Very nice. Is there enough clearance for a larger capacity water pan?

If I ever have to get down to one grill/smoker your SnS kamado and the Weber charcoal summit are on the top of my list. I really like the quality, versatility, and customer service reputation of yours, but my main concern with the ceramic option is weight (not sure if I could roll it around when I get in my 70’s). For now though I will keep using my WSM and Weber kettles with the SnS products.

I am thinking of getting the SnS XL for my 26.75 Weber, but might just start saving money for a kamado!

Party foul.... Did the concrete seasoning add any extra crunchiness or bark to the ribs?

Absolutely same feeling on spritzing. I hardly ever do it. I don't think it's that important. But I just bought three new spray bottles, because, you know 😂

Love that you did back to back cooks. Versatility is a huge selling point for me. Another compelling video, you're doing good work here Dave! Smoke on 👉💨

Really like the video Dave but I noticed that one of the racks looks a little "crusty" on the bottom. I'm not averse to a little bit of char but would prefer it not to happen. Have you thought about trying to come up with a bigger/wider deflector plate so that more of the heat is directed around the dome and away from the food? I love the SnS Kamado but this could be one of the things that stops me from buying it. Cheers

The ribs sure looked tasty! Got enough meat there for dinner, breakfast, lunch, dinner, brea... oh you get what I mean.
