Thank you Ben for reviewing affordable new vehicles unlike many snobbish reviewers who refuse to review the Mirage, Versa etc. because it's too basic for them. You're a champion for us poor & working class Americans!

I just bought the 2024 Outlander ES, Silver color. Despite this being the lowest trim level of the Outlander, this was by far the best car buy of my life. Paid a modest 34.5K after taxes. It has way more power than our 2017 Nissan Rogue (which we also love), and despite having fabric seats, there is still an ample amount of leather in the interior. Despite lowest trim level, it still seems like luxury car. Also, very smooth and quiet ride. In terms of exterior looks, it turns heads.

You have to appreciate it for what it’s is… I have a 2024 Outlander SEL… rides well, inside is very nice, 5 year bumper to bumper warrant and 10 yr power train.. super affordable as well… I don’t keep cars for more than 5 years so this seems perfect to me! I like it and have enjoyed it so far.

I bought this SUV back in 2022 when they first came out. and now in 2024 I'm still happy with this SUV . Love this SUV I Got in Metalic Brown . SEL Trim Black leather with orange interior trim . and NO issues of any kind after almost three years of ownership. GOOD JOB MITSUBISHI 😁👏

Just like the previous version of the Outlander, you can adjust the first and second row to create more usable leg room for the third tow. I am average height (5'7 - 7'9). With average sized passengers in the 2nd row, we were able to fit an average sized adult in the 3rd row.
Otherwise, I like your review. Other car reviewers are too snobbish. Most us do not drive Lexus and Infinitis!

I hate how everything has to have rubberband tires now, especially considering how terrible the roads are pretty much everywhere.

I bought the 2024 SE and very happy about it. Where can you find a 100% made in Japan SUV for that price? The selling point on owning an SUV that is made entirely in Japan. They were made to last 300 ++ thousand miles. My Camry has 350 T. I believe it will go over 400 T. My husband's XTERRA 1999 went over 300 T before the transmission gave out..

Daughter has 2022 awc 18 inch rims. I put BF Goodrich trail t/a truck tires on it. Better than advertised mpg. No problems at 30000. Never goes 5000 before oil change. I do all maintenance for her. Power is surprisingly good at sea level. We’re from Idaho but live in California. CVT is best we have had but I still hate them. It’s ok.
Tires stink in rain. Super slick. But will last more than 60000 miles.

The three rows SUV needs a 6 cylinders and not a poor CVT transmission.

It’s an awesome family SUV. Great MPG, non turbo, reliable CVT, no start stop nonsense, comfortable seating and very affordable.

I think the draw here is the price. Not everyone can afford Hondas & Toyotas. Mitsubishi is offering comparable machines, (debatable) at a much lower cost.

We just bought one and we love it so far ! We had a Honda CRV before it.

Good review. But why can't cars companies put more craftsmanship on info-tanment system and integrate it in the dash rather sticking it.

Ben would you consider this over the equinox

Gotta admit they got that interior spot on . Never been a huge fan of Mitsubishi but that looks pretty

I'd like a physical key, an automatic transmission, a CD player, and for the tablet mounted on the dashboard to come down a few inches.

I just test drove the car today and I thought the ride was kind of stiff, and it feels like I felt every crack in the . Also, I thought was very disappointing was that there is no button to open up your garage door like on some model similar to this one and the rearview mirror there is a button to open up your garage door. I think they want you to use your phone get into your app and then open up your garage door. This is ridiculous.

READ BEFORE YOU BUY! When it comes to the the mi pilot assist. You have to have it in cruise for it to activate and keep you centered. Then everytime you switch lanes via turn signal it will beep at you when you enter the other lane and it locks on to the lines again. So left turn signal, switch lanes, locks on with green steering wheel lit... BEEP. Then pass the car and go back to the right lane, locks on.... BEEP. No where to turn that off and super annoying with no volume control either. Also, when the Mi Pilot active you can't turn off the alarm for when you drift to a line on either side. This is usually the persons doing over the assist but it will give you a BEEP BEEP, BEEP BEEP when that happens and you can't turn that off either. So if those types of alarms bother you then this is not the car for you. I like my previous car which was a Hyundai and I could have the steer lane assist on all the time, cruise or no cruise and shut the annoying sounds off. I regret buying this car because of this...

They are on point with their interior. Just need to bump up that engine to at least 250hp.
