Depending only on sign of C is not completely true, it depends also on the viewing direction
It should be
If V.N ≥ 0 then it is front visible surface
If V.N < 0 then it is back-face surface

If the dot product between the surface normal vector and the view vector is negative, it means that the surface is facing away from the viewer, not towards them. So, if the dot product is negative, it indicates that the surface is a backface, meaning it's not visible to the viewer from their current viewpoint.

Sign of c should be less than or equal to 0 to be backface

Please note the following condition:-

If Dot ≥ 0 then
surface is visible
else
Not visible

Please do not teach wrong concept 🙏🏻
