I'm a little late to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ party... but better late than never! In this video, I compare this tablet to my personal iPad Pro 12.9" and touch on the general note-taking experience you get with both.

I felt like this video did not do samsung justice. I use it everyday for class and it has dozens of more features than what he mentioned.

You can attach the S Pen to the top of the tablet as well (holding it horizontally/landscape mode), won't charge there, but just for keeping.

Samsung is going to revive the android tablet market and is heading to the right direction

Could you do a comparison video between Samsung Notes vs Goodnotes 5 / Notability? This would be the first video of its kind on YouTube.

Tab S7s native Samsung Note app is super simple and very intuitive. Native PDF sign and annotate, shape correction, voice note to match note taking, sync with Samsung or Microsoft One Note, auto alignment of notes, etc. There's a ton of function that leaves little to be desired.

iPad pro looks like a square that's why when you watch movies and YouTube on it there is big black lines Samsung much better for watching content

Everybody reviews it like gaming performances, benchmarks, screen refresh rates, graphical interfaces etc, but noone really does this kind of review. I'm and engineer, I take a lot of notes about my work, doodles, reminders, calculations on paper and so on. I full up a notebook about every month. Thank you for your review.

Im more towards customizability so I am definitely getting the s7 plus, while it isnt as secure and stuff and a complete app market and such, I will say that when youre on a budget, note taking is a must cause of college, and you have been in the android ecosystem for literally your entire life, it is a god send!

I sold my ipad pro 2020 with its magic keyboard and its Apple Pencil, with that cash I bought the Tab S7+ and am super happy with my decision.

I mean I am a samsung s7 plus user and honestly as a previous iPad user I love samsung s7 plus as it is much more better for my eco system as it compliments all my notes and laptop and plus alot more economically convenient. Samsung notes is just amazing to use, it's free, s pen is also free, u get two things u need for note taking for free and I think samsung notes goes head to head with good notes or notability. It's just so much efficient to use.

Just bought the S7+ and Keyboard cover yesterday. Black Friday pricing and you can select the student discount without having to verify. This also gives a controller, 4 months of youtube premium, and 3 months of Xbox game pass. Price after everything for me was $1, 086.

Forgot to mention it was the 256gb, 8gb RAM version.

All videos on comparison or review are stick to note-taking, it seems like all YouTubers are Apple's notebook salesmen and selling it to students. Few are covering drawing or video editing too, but how many artists are there! Or some are just talking about specifications like Chip, Speakers, Cable, Ram, Storage or refresh rate, unlocking speed in nano-second difference, thickness, which iPad support which pencil or keyboard, we know them. We need review not specification. No One shares the actual experience working on an iPad or Android tablet.

I'm sharing my experience for business/job people:
If you are a seller:
-If you are a seller on social media then Gallery Management is good in Android as you can easily manage folders. iPad folders are bad. Even selecting multiple items on iPad is time-consuming where you have better in Samsung with touch and drag.
-if you copy and paste a lot, then Samsung is better because it has a good clipboard and remembers many copied items together, you can paste them together.
-Whatsapp, FB, and Instagram Automatic reply apps save time which are on Android not on iOS.
-Whatsapp is not available on the iPad.

If you need for general office use:
-MS Office: You can't open two files at a time. You will have to close first and then second open. You need to buy MS Office 365 for Rs. 4200 per year. Free is only viewing, not editing. (Both iPad/Android). It can't replace your laptop.
-Email experience is almost the same on both of them.
-File sharing and file opening is poor on iPad as it doesn't open Zip Files.
-if you like using multiple accounts on Whatsapp or Skype, then Samsung offers dual messenger which installs one more same app on the device for the second account. Besides this, Android has Skype lite also which means you can run 3 Skype on one tablet.
-importing/exporting from pc to tablet is easier on Android, you can transfer anything. On iPad, you can transfer limited things.
-iPad offers automation settings like if this happens then do this, which is nice.
-searching in device: Apple does is faster.

From Brands:
-Apps on the iPad App Store are better than apps on Samsung because many developers make apps for iPad but not for Samsung.
-Support: you get more support on iPad from Apple, like software updates with new features but Samsung is slow in it and leaves you after some time. No updates, no new features.
-Resale value: both poor.
-Repair or Maintenance: Apple is more expensive.
-Privacy: I believe privacy is not only about locking the device, but also when you handover your unlocked device to someone, where Samsung wins because it has a secure folder (transfer any app or content there and access there only) as well as a private gallery.
-Samsung Dex looks cool but not so good because apps are not customized for this. Samsung own apps and few apps work fine in Dex, so not that effective.
-iPad gets connected to Apple devices nicely, even screen sharing, file sharing etc.

For you:
Samsung: Seller, normal job, Gallary, Privacy from friends/family, General Things, Organizing things,
Apple: Student, Artists, Privacy from outside world, Apps, have iPhone & Macbook, Show-off,

Is anybody else thrown off by the size difference? I know they're technically the same size but different aspect ratio, however I just don't think I can get used to 16:9

I use 16:9 every day on my entertainment and work computers and on my phone too, but those devices have very different purposes. My ipad I use mostly for reading: books, websites (Like social media or wikipedia were you actually read a lot and not just watch media) and occasionally write. This just feels more comfortable on a vertical 4:3 screen.

Which is a shame because I remember that Samsung was the other big company that also used to sell 4:3 aspect ratio tablets, but on these very fancy new devices it's not there. I would honestly prefer Android as an ecosystem vs iPados because I like versatility and customizeability but not without 4:3. The Google Slate and Chromebook tablets were looking promising for this very reason of 4:3 and the OS and App situation was getting a bit better but now that Google killed that project as predicted, all other hardware vendors also abandoned it and there are no longer being produced or updated at all.

I really think the biggest plus for samsung is the samsung dex feature, paired with the keyboard cover it basically becomes a very powerful little laptop that you can use for programming and other stuff (geogebra and mathlab for example). as an engineering student, I love it.
Edit after 1 year of using the tablet: unfurtunally you cannot program on it as there is no IDE for the tablet. With that being said I have loved taking notes on this thing this past year. I have probably written hundreds of pages of notes on this tablet and it's been a blast. I paid 800 euros for this thing and I have to say it was probably the best investment I've done. I have completely phased out pen and paper.

The next apple pencil should have an eraser on the top like the surface pen

Also if you long press on the button on the spen your will get the eraser
And if you long press and double tap it will create a new note if you don't have one

Took you a couple of minutes to actually get talking about the topic, and I'm only saying this because it's a 12-min video, but great quick overview of a primary topic. I clicked because I own the S7 here in India and these have the potential to get the Tablet market to the Android side of things.

Dude you said note taking experience in heading .. but mostly it seems a promo of tab s7, nemo or paper like. It would have been great to have 5 mins video comparing best app of ios and best on android according to you.
Few areas that you can cover
- types of paper
- can we have different types of papers in one book / note group
- can we mix match portrait and landscape
- can import pdfs
- storage/ cloud backup support
- different os compatibility
- subscription type
- adding book covers
- any advantage to be part of ecosystem such as air drop and in samsung case if one had samsung phone does app provide some benefits
- multiple logins
