Kirk Hammett 1959 Fender Stratocaster in Black – Serial number: 42480
We are proud to present this exceptional 1959 @fender Stratocaster that comes from Kirk Hammett's personal collection, and includes in the case candy, a few previously unreleased pictures of Kirk Hammett with this Fender Stratocaster alongside the band on stage – All taken by his personal photographer. This guitar has been used to play the @metallica hit “Nothing Else Matters” live on the ‘Hardwired To Self-Destruct’ tour ( WoldWired Tour) An original personal letter from @kirkhammett7543 that proofs and confirms our description is included as well. We got the original letter directly from Mr. Hammett himself.
History: How did we get it ?
Back in June 2022 when Metallica played at the danish festival Copenhell, Kirk Hammett visited our store and we had a great talk about vintage guitars. He is such a nice and sympathetic person and we are also happy to have sold him a fine vintage guitar. Then after playing concert, Metallica went to Italy to play concert, and our friend; Cesco’s Corner had an appointment with him. Cesco put in a lot of hard work and finally got Kirk Hammett’s 59 Black Stratocaster in the end of the summer. We at Guitar Hunter had a good conversation with Cesco regarding this historical piece. Cesco’s Corner is also well known for his knowledge regarding vintage Fender. Finally we took the decision to buy it. We then told Kirk Hammett about the purchase and he then sends us the original signed letter to our store. Thanks to Kirk Hammett and thanks to our friend Cesco’s corner for giving us this beautiful guitar.
