A couple of decades ago I dated someone in the public eye. The lack of anonymity, privacy and constant scrutiny is stressful. It's not necessarily the press, but rather the inability to simply walk on a beach, wander into shops, have a simple meal in a restaurant, or even stop at traffic lights, without people at the very least gawking, but often politely (but rudely) interrupting, or photographing. It's torturous, and very corrosive to relationships. Quiet apart from the gutter press's stupid speculative headline grabbing opinions. Although I haven't met her, I am sure, despite her beauty and wonderful gifts, she is a normal woman confronted by a similar range of issues that other women are confronted. Give her some space. Thankyou for your wonderful music Lana, and I wish you privacy and every happiness in your personal life!
