The McLaren 720S Stops Nearly As Well As a P1

Just days ahead of its full reveal at the Geneva Motor Show, McLaren has revealed a little about the interior of the new McLaren 720S, the latest model in its mid-range 'Super Series' model line.
The replacement for the McLaren 650S will feature a new instrument display that, according to the company "incorporates a revolutionary approach to information display and delivers unrivalled levels of driver engagement".
The McLaren Driver Interface is built around a pair of high-resolution screens. The first is called the Folding Driver Display – and is exactly that. When the screen is opened, it displays a full range of information according to whether the driver has selected Comfort, Sport or Track driving modes.
The 650S replacement will be the entry point to McLaren's 'Super Series' of cars. The company divides its models into three series: Sports, Super and Ultimate, rising in price, performance and exclusivity at each step.
One of the images released so far shows the design of the rear spoiler, and it does seem to confirm a few points. It's clearly 'active', meaning it’ll rise and lower to improve aerodynamics and downforce, to the benefit of grip, handling and performance. McLaren also says it'll act as an air brake, generating extra resistance to slow the car and decrease stopping distances.
