This is the first time I have been behind the wheel of this car and it was definitely a lot of fun to drive! It is a pure drivers car, with minimal technology, a 6 speed manual and the option to have the wind in your hair!

The shifting is super smooth and it's a very easy car to drive and to rev match! For a 15+ year old vehicle, the leather has held up very well and the interior is just as nice! What do you all think of the blue on blue on blue? In person I think it looks really good, it's not ultra blue and in your face, but a nice subtle blue that works well with this car.

For practicality, it's has a useable trunk to put in enough items for two people for a car of this size. The top down experience is very fun to be able to have that option and it's not too loud on the inside, what you would expect from a convertible.

This particular Honda S2000 had some minor work done to it, with the painted wheels and huge carbon fiber wing on the back, along with the K&N intake. This would definitely be a fun project car! What do you think of a big wing on a Honda S2000?

I can defitinly see buying a Honda S2000! It is a fun sports car to drive and they do not cost that much!

How many of you own a Honda S2000 and love it? Does anyone hate owning a Honda S2000?

Life is best at 9000 rpm with the top down.

One of the most famous and beat engines ever being the 2.0L DOHC VTEC and not 1 mention of it. Take it into vtec above 5500 and then you will truly understand the car and hear the induction noise. Poor review tbh.

I know its a car for sale but the reason why you're not that thrilled with the car's acceleration is because you barely crossed over the VTEC. Most of the power is found up top towards the 9000rpm range. If you want to be excited, you shouldn't drive this car like a V8 muscle car or a turbocharged hatchback where there's a lot of torque down low.

I never driven a Honda S2000 but I think they are pretty cool cars.

Love this thing. (Granted, I own one so I'm biased). A few words of advice though: I didnt see you go over 6, 000 at any time during the video. To truly feel all the power of the car, you've got to go past that. 6, 000 is when VTEC kicks in and the car really wakes up and is surprisingly quick!

You didn’t drive this car the way it was built to be driven, the s2000 only truly shines near or at 9000 rpm . Unfortunately it seems you barley crossed over into VTEC and hence your review doesn’t accurately capture what the car is about .

Morning Bro. Which Greenville? We have one in SC. Every state has one. Glad you drove this. There is a Yellow S2000 on the lot where I got my 04 350Z Roadster. It's been looking at me. Giving me the eye. Since I do things in pairs, the Z might want a little sister. These cars have a good rep overall, I believe. Thank you and have a great day.

Great video man!!! I love the 2002 Honda 2000, it's a awesome throwback!!! Y'all should do a review on the 2002 Ford Mustang! I can't wait for y'all next video.

Drive under vtec and me on my skateboard will win the race. Dump the clutch @ 5, 000 and power shift at the redline and the story will be different.

Isnt this the dealership you had issue with?

2002 with 78000 miles at 17k is overpriced, especially with the painted wheels. Not that they look bad but definately doesn't help the value. Depends on whether you prefer them or not. I'd keep shopping or offer $12500-$13500.

I've had my AP1 New Formula Red S2000 since 2007. I've added an STi, Corvette Z06, and Gen V Viper have a special place in my heart for the S2000. It's a sweet

The top didn't go down all the way. There is a fix for that. The trunk space is quite good, and yes, that is a spare tire. They are great cars. Fun to drive and classic styling.

This is a great car. My first one I bought with 75k on the odometer. Now, my third one and I bought it five years ago with 141k on the odometer. I have about 182k on it and I have had no problems with it. 😀

Its been said that "Miata is always the answer", but the S2000 is like a Super-Miata. Infinitely better/crisper handling in stock form, leather seats, power top, and the piece-de-resistance: Honda's outstanding drivetrain.

I bought a 2003 model (1st of two versions Honda made, called the "AP1") a few months ago as a weekender/backroads driver and LOVE it! As many viewers will be happy to point out, there are some key things that make the S2000 special, including an engine that produces most of its power above 6, 000 RPM (and revs to almost 9, 000) via Honda's VTEC magic. You noted the super-smooth shifter - another top feature of this wonderful roadster - and that it must be a fantastic car for mountain roads. Well, that's precisely why I have mine, right here in the Blue Ridge Mtn foothills! Simply put, this is a true driver's car - and a special one at that. Now that it has been out of production for 10 years, it is also becoming quite collectible, and the value of well-kept S2000's is still around 2/3 the original sticker price well over a decade later. More and more, the only ones you see on the road are being driven like mine... mostly for recreation. Daily driven S2000's are pretty much the higher-mileage cars that are not very collectible, but even those still sell for double and triple the price of Miatas of the same model year. These are future classics for sure.

I had a 370Z NISMO much like someone else we know (even the same color). My S2000 is 15 years older and a lot less powerful than the Z, but I actually enjoy driving it more!

I recently purchased a honda s2000! I must say, it's probably the best decision I have made in a while lol I have the 2005 ap1 facelift in suzuka blue, we dont get ap2s here in the UK. This car really is awesome, puts a smile on my face every time i get in it 🤙

I'd take the Honda S2000, you should learn how to drive it, you didn't get to 9, 000 RPMs not once.
