The only good thing about the 2017 battlefront is the graphics & storyMode that’s it but with the 2005 one it is superior in every way due to how much was included in its gameplay ability ✅.

brother let me tell ya i will never forget how immersed i felt on the 2017 bf2. especially the first few matches i ever played, i started back in 2019-20 ish and would get fried then play for hours. it was great

While i agree with most your points. Especially on hero uniqueness ect, i do wanna say i think the heroes in OG are better in the power fantasy sense, at least force users are... They are Much faster and lightsaber swings hit much harder then in 2017.

In 2017 you can Enter a hallway of troopers and Youll prob kill most or all of them but youll be hurting and also Low on stamina from blocking shots ect and itll take a hot minute.

In The OG battlefronts As Any saber hero but ESPECIALLY Someone like Maul in the same scenario you will literally wipe out 20-30 troopers in seconds with hardly any damage done to ya and also Blocking and stamina worked so much better.

Heroes in 2005 felt like genuine monsters that turned the tide of battle tbh

2017 ya need multiple heroes on a team to really start enacting a positive change on the field tbh.

Also 2005 Game modes was better imho, just had more going for it and more content

I didn't start playing the battlefront games until 2009 2010 ish and it still looked really good

-Better sandbox gameplay
-Glactic Conquest
-Better space battles
-Better representation of the Clone Wars (Mace Windu, Ventress, Jango, Mustafar, Utapau, Coruscant, etc.)
-In map vehicles
-Better Instant Action
-More varied Hunt Mode

Battlefront 2017:
-A campaign that was actually original instead of just using repurposed maps
-Better player customizations (abilities, weapons, outfits)
-More unique hero movesets
-Better graphics
-More unique map design
-Galactic Assault
-Better Ewok Hunt mode
-Sequel Era characters and maps for those that enjoy that era

The difference is we didn't have to wait for units and heroes for 2005. In 2017, we had lots of missing characters/units. Tbh 2005 was a core childhood memory. 2005 will always top the newer versions. Thats just me tho

Yea but working on this and EA constantly getting involved with it's development. Is what made most of the dice team quit. I like the game but it legacy hurts!

2005s multiplayer is very Aged not as In the gameplay but in the helth damage and pvp in general was not completely figured out so things like a constant ttk don’t exist

One thing I will miss going back to classic bf2 is the clone commando unit, such a cool trooper from its design to their abilities

why do you switch shoulders so much in the newer game? I only have like 40 hours in that game so im still pretty new to it so am I just missing something??? It seems annoying to me
