Naval Daver, MD, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, discusses challenges in treating TP53-mutated acute myeloid leukemia (AML), emphasizing that despite advances with new drugs, this subgroup remains difficult to treat. He highlights the role of allogeneic stem cell transplantation (alloSCT) as the only intervention offering curative potential, with new immunotherapies under investigation to address the unmet need.
