Fun fact: They give you 6 hours free parking (used to be 8 hours) because the mall is so massive. IKEA: Mega Bangna is the first IKEA store in Thailand

Finally come to Bangna mega mall, but the largest Mall in Thailand is under construction right now it will be at Bangna BTS station it will be called Bangkok Mall it will complete in about 2 more years

We’re literally have that mega size mall across the corner (outskirts) of Krung-Thep, there is Future Park Rangsit that far from your location still you can take BTS Green line from E7 Ekamai to N23 then take bus or taxi. Somehow be prepare for heavily traffic especially evening 😅 otherwise another largest size of mall to explore and walk around.

There also Central Westgate with another Ikea location which accessible by those BTS from Ekamai to Asoke then MRT Blue Sukhumvit to Tao Poon and MRT Purple Tao Poon to Talad Bang Yai, there walk way from station to mall.

Aside of Central Group for those shopping mall we also have The Mall Group as well.

There is also a park outside the mall and a Top Golf course. In the past, there was also Marvel Studios. Unfortunately it's closed.

Mega Bangna is to the south of Bangkok. My house is way up north. I go there if there is a special purpose 'coz the drive is long and tiring, even with the tollway that drops me right down in front of that mall (but on the other side of the Bangna Trad Expressway). You guys look like you really had lots of funnn!!!

Hi Caroline and Anthony! Actually, the majority of the local Thais who take the free shuttle are going home in the area and some are going to work at the mall. I rode on that shuttle last November and spoke to the Thai passengers and they told me that it’s a free way to get home. Most of the locals do not go into the mall. This is why the boat shuttle to Icon Siam now charges 10 baht when it used to be free. The mall realized that the locals were using the boat shuttle to get across the Chao Phraya river but not go into Icon Siam.
