Quick thing: when you do a drivetrain swap, it automatically gives you a race trans (usually a 6 speed)

A tip on the wheel size, if possible try to get 16-18 inch wheels, as in real life those are best for racing as their a good balance between top speed and rotation mass. I know forza isn’t that realistic but it does play a slight difference

Some cars you can make 3 classes higher but its rare. One is the ford police interceptor. 6.2 handling is not too bad for a class

Are there general rules for "native" vs upgraded classes?
Let's say I have two cars. One from Class C and one Class B.
I want a car that maxes out class B. I can only do small adjustments to the B class. But the C class I have more room to make the car just how I want.
Usually for event races. Ex. A class super car. I'll search for A class super car and then I do some modification. But maybe going for a B class and upgrading would be better. Any thoughts?
