Actually it was XRSAM, : 250 Km for fighter type target and 350Km for Tanker, AWACS, etc
Then it was ERADs: another 150Km one got added
Now finally it is 3 missile combo.
IMO M1 will be highly based on Akash-NG and like you said M2 and M3 will be with boosters:
M1:80-100KM
M2:150+KM
M3:250-350KM

Heartening to we can have a very robust air defence system in place along with stealth detection radars, to overcome shortfall in squadron strength and deficiency of 5th gen fighters until they arrive in IAF inventory

This is great news. Hope these systems dont take more than 2-3 yrs to become operational as we need more such systems to counter enemy 5th gen airctafts given we arent getting any 5th gen planes for the next 15 yrs.

If we make our own 90km sam missiles along with these 3 missile and vlsrsam/akash ng ie 40+90+150+250+350 km can become our s400 system .all missile in a single umbrella system and can offer for export instead of s400 to other countries. Also we has to develop drone killers with soft and hard kill along with a pantsir/k30 bhio type system with vshorad missiles as close in support for this system.
