Woow, cool list! James Baldwin is an absolute genius, and his books areas relevant today as when they were written. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
And i read Frankenstein just a couple weeks ago and i loved it. I think the abridged version was reworked by Mary Shelley herself. I recommend you to get the Oxford classics edition, because it has a very lengthy introduction about Shelleys life, which imo gives you a way deeper understanding of the book. It also decribes what was changed in the abridged vesion.

It’s crazy to me to hear other peoples opinions on which hunger games books are their favorites since it’s such a popular series. I used to agree with you but when I reread them mockingjay became my new favorite!
So many of the books on my tbr are on your list as well! (prob bc I’m also a shawn mccomb subscriber lol) Can’t wait to see how you feel about them too
