Thanks for this video, its gonna sure come in hsndy when i next visit Europe. I mainly live in Australia but i have a 2nd home in Europe where i usually spend 3-6 months every year (except this year due to the situation going on in the world), so i tend to use travel adapters but its not enough, im planning on bringing a couple of Australian wall sockets with me to wire up but i wasnt sure on the wiring standard used however this has showed me its the same scheme (Active/Positive/+, Neutral/-, and Ground)

Always check with a multimeter to ensure there is no vac at the wires, sometimes plugs are so worn the prevent power from reaching the outlet

Nice wired correctly but the live is supposed to be on the right side, is's not required but it's reccomended

the title speaks of 220/240 but no ention is made of to disinguish this socket. Does it make a difference?

why + or - sides dont matter? if i have equipment with plug, + should go to + in socket and - to - in socket. if i plug like 180 degress, polarity is reversed. could you clarify it

almost perfect for my situation. Just moved to Romania and some of the sockets and switches are falling out of the wall! I am trying to understand how to put tension on the "teeth" to grab the sides of the wall so they don't fall out. Your video is not exactly clear on that.. can you help?
