Thanks so much for making this series. Just finished it after a few weeks of going through real slow and taking lots of notes. It is so helpful.

After much deliberation I reckon on getting the deluge over the MPC one.
I then have second thoughts after visiting help section in their forum, then come to a tutorial like this one and once again think yeah it'll be fine Rome wasn't built in a day heh. I've had a few years hiatus but used to use logic and since used some Ableton and others. Currently residing in a cabin in the woods with no p.c or electricity and the Deluge possibilities and portability appeal immensely. Thanks Ron, when I get one soon I shall be using your tutorials. Great explanation! Oneday I'm going to take a week off work and just follow along with all the tutorials you've done. I really need to reach a bit further with the Deluge.

Great Hapax videos! Keep up the good work.

I know you answered this before, but I can't find it...where can learn more about the digital small screen device sitting behind the Hapax. It's animating. 😉

21:33 Here Ron says that Unfortunately there is no way to copy (group of instruments) or loop the whole "song" in arranger view, does someone knows if there has been and update for this?
Thanks! very helpful videos.

Just stumbled upon this channel, great work! you seem to have quite some experience. What would your choice be for a studio brain/sampler/midisequencer: octatrack or deluge?

Great video. Coming from a PC DAW, I feel much happier in Arranger view than song view. Song view always confused me.

One way I like to construct is that I make the colours match chords, so my blues will be Am, green for C etc. then the clips are constructed like that. In this way, I can string chords together in arranger view, by matching the colours on all the instrument lines.

Alternatively, I'm thinking of switching the colours to sections, e.g. blue for pre chorus, pink for chorus, different verse colour, etc. I'm really not sure which way I prefer with my colours to be honest.

Hey Ron I’ve seen your Hapax vids, interested to know if you only could afford one would it be a Hapax vs Deluge? Because I can’t afford both : )
