I'm glad they're making it a series instead of one movie that way they can flesh out the characters better. I just hope it'll at least be fun to watch regardless of if it's as good as the anime or not.

As a one piece super fan I never would have thought that one piece can be done right in live action, until I started hearing Matt Owens(head writer) on a number of op live streams talking about his process when it came to adapting this series an now I have nothing but faith in this show. Already I caught a bunch of easter eggs put in this teaser alone that tells me Matt will do this series right, and he even got the blessing from Goda himself an to me that's all I need to know. And lastly as a Luffy fanboy I really like inaki portaryal as Luffy thus far.

I've been watching your videos for Power Rangers for a while now but I had no idea you guys follow One Piece. One Piece is my favorite series since I have such a personal connection to the characters as far as their values go.

I never caught the live action Cowboy Bebop, but hopefully this turns out better than how people felt about that one.

many one piece fans expressed their disappointment about this series from netflix..do they think it will be the same as the anime..?? from the beginning oda sensei has explained that this one piece he created for the outside world is not from japan.. oda has explained that all SHP characters are from outside except zoro which oda created to represent 1 from his home country.. and oda has explained from his imagination indeed the world of one piece from outside..if we want every anime to come from the creator's country, he should take an example like fullmetal alchemist..100% from japan, are the fans satisfied..?? is his movie famous..?? so let's continue to support their work if we are true fans of one piece..oda always monitors this series and he has told if he is not satisfied then he will not allow this series to air..🔥🔥🔥

Think Sanji looks pretty good, betting Netflix will tone down if not completely nix his smoking as thats a huge part of who he is as well as his attention to Nami and females in general as he is not disrespectful to any women, just the opposite but again is a huge part of his personality to fawn over her and Robin.
