An age of mythology total war would be interesting and could be their next total war trilogy.

I think we know they have to do something fantasy or mythical as next major series, so many of the people that play total war Warhammer are here for that. To keep them I think it will be a must to keep it fantasy.

Yeah looks like a mythological prequel expansion of some sort. CA are probably trying to turn Troy into a series like WH where the titles link together.

This could be the other project CA hinted at. Not a DLC, but a stand-alone game. They’ll bring in older Demigod heroes as Legendary Lords. Heracles, Perseus, Orpheus and their factions like Thebes, Aethiopia, Thrace etc a Jason and the argonauts DLC at some point.

What we need is a mythology style of total war.

I think if they have a mythological game mode basically to Troy it'd definitely be a lot better (playing it now to see if I don't like it I can say it's not as bad as it's given though the main downer was still not having a mythological choice or a historical choice like 3 kingdoms with romance mode etc.) and I really hope they port it to Steam as well whenever or however that's possible and it would explain why they're pushing the Total War: Warhammer 3 stuff back to September cause a regular lord DLC for Troy could possibly take a month, but even CA has to know the hype isn't as bad for it as it is for Warhammer 3 so unless they have something else that's big they've been also working on besides for Troy then well, I doubt they'd do this. Only question is, will the community buy the game if they did make a mythological mode?
