This will never get boring. I would never skip this even if it was just a cutscene. From Titanfall 2 drop sequence, through my wacky attempts to replicate it in KSP, to Helldivers 2, orbital drops like those are just the coolest things you can do in any sci-fi.

I get goosebumps every time. I love how the pods are designed to not brake at all and patriotically slam into the ground at terminal velocity to cause the most shock and awe.

The best part of this intro it's when you have a bad and slow computer, the loading screen keeps spinning with the music playing in the background !

Learning that the background is other players either calling strikes(shooting ordnance planetward) or starting their own missions(seeing the other hellpods) is just extra detail that makes it so much better.

I love how this is a game with a setting, like GTFO or something, where your thrown in, helpless against this huge army, and they don't expect you to live.
But while its the same type of hopeless suicide mission, Helldivers makes it so you KNOW you wont survive forever. and you'll enjoy it.
You'll Enjoy being a Force of fucking nature, Bringing all enemies around you down with you. Its a power trip. THATS what being a helldiver means. you'll dive into this hellish situation,
and Raise even MORE hell trying to and WANTING to blow everything up.
This loading screen is the embodiment of that hype, that POWER TRIP. With the awesome way of getting on the planet, mixed with the music.
Its a feeling of Power. of Excitement. Knowing its a suicide mission, you, a Helldiver, take it to heart and will Enjoy it.
That's why the loading Screen is my favorite part of the game. It gives me that sense of One Man Army(Or up to 4!), Letting me feel like the Doom Slayer, while also still being just human, a just as killable being as them.

It always gets me hyped. But the one scenario it feels even BETTER is when you do quick play and go to someone’s SOS beacon. It feels epic how you join their squad, knowing how much the help is appreciated since they might be surrounded and swarmed.

Looking back on it now, Angels Venture was such a beautiful map even from orbit. So glad they decided it was gonna be a starting planet for the war.
