For any one critical of Byrna for the joules The technology does not pride it self on joules although it’s important but it’s the patten trigger puncture and release of the round while off safety is the reason it will save lives, the simple act of pulling the trigger and puncturing the cod and releasing a round at the same time is what sets the Byrna apart from other launchers making it more effective than even weapons with more joules. Remember. When comparing launchers. They are not for popularity contest of what is the best most powerful. It is about what will get you out of harms way and home with your family.

I love my byrnas and they’re great pepper ball launchers. But please give us something high powered for those of us in areas where pepper balls are restricted and we rely solely on impact.

Excited for it, but they are slow to market. Grimburg beat them by introducing their Grimburg Carry. I don’t like its 5 round tube magazine and threaded CO2 8g with a twist to pierce. It’s not conducive to quick deployment when carrying it concealed. Hope Byrna keeps a fast loading cap and a detachable 5 round magazine on theirs. As well as their pull to pierce technology. If this has those features it will be hard to beat.

It looks like the same size, except for the barrel. It just looks like a studdy version. I'm not sure what the point is. Will it hold the same amount or less ammo, than the S.D. version? How much less power will it have, or will it be just as effective?

Y'all, I carry the full size Byrna LE concealed everywhere I go outside the house plus an extra mag on the belt. Is it always comfortable, no. Is it more comfortable than being attacked, hell yes. If you're bringing a launcher, get the one that will make the attacker regret their choices. If you can't handle the burn, stay outta the Byrna. 😅
