Now the interiors and should be done with this scene . More or less ;] . Everything is running using DX9 API (no DX11 features used... yet :p).

Absolutely astounding. I'm about to enter a Game Art school here in switzerland and this right there really gave me motivation and tons of inspiration vis-a-vis mapping/level editing and creating unique landscapes and ambiances :) Can't wait for your 100% finished map ! Will it be available somehow for a game mod or something ?

@BadShuffler i'm using lightshafts from dominant lights, but these ones are only visible only if'you're looking at the light source (and its suck :P so next-gen engine and no volumetrics ?). Other lightshafts / godrays has been done using modeled meshes with material using pixeldepth, reflection vector nodes . Fog is a part of postprocess chain .

@hydzior If this were to be a game, I would so buy it for starters. Also to add here, I love the style of this map completely.I prefer to do my projects (maps, models etc.) the same way. Cannot quite name the style used by us, but I think it`s something like... slummish yet colorfu.

Beautiful map, keep it up. Waiting for more ^^

@BadShuffler Light rays can be easily imitated with editing the properties of a dominant light on your scene.

Check out desert vehicle map that comes with UDK for making a fog and dust

great job there. About the modelling programs, I'd say the best might be Autodesk Alias Studio, for modelling particular complex or rounded shapes. The models can be easily then imported in Autodesk 3d Studio max for further graphic work.

hydzior, What procedure did you use to create all of this? No worries, I'm not here to copy your amazing work, I want to create my own thing. I use Maya with an okay Pc. I'm guessing sketched out your idea then built out your environment, so on?
